Julia was inspired by the ancient Egyptian “broadcollar” where she developed these elaborate and intricate objects d‘ art. Using some of the smallest beads in the world she is able to achieve fine detail and pictorial designs. The use of semiprecious stones and pearls is unique to Julia’s work. She has developed a steadfast technique, for inlaying stones into beadwork, time tested for its durability.
